Jason DeRouchie and Desiring God

Posted: October 3, 2013 in Uncategorized

Dr. DeRouchie has become a favorite of students at Bethlehem College and Seminary. Walking into class and sitting under his careful, thoughtful, and passionate teaching from the Old Testament is a privilege and joy. He approaches the OT in a Christo-centric way and helps the student see the relevance of each OT passage for ones life. I know my cohort brothers were always anxious for class with Dr. D and we are eager to have him next semester for Deuteronomy.

Recently the guys over at Desiring God invited Dr. DeRouchie to sit down and talk about a biblical theology of love. I commend the DG post and the interview to you. May God bless your soul as you read the post and listen to the interview.

Also, Dr. DeRouchie’s What the Old Testament Authors Really Cared About, a survey of Jesus’ Bible, is on sale at Amazon. This would be a great resource for the home as families learn to see Jesus in the OT and understand the storyline of each book and Scripture as a whole.
